Every language has some quirks in its written form – including in its legal texts – which are often difficult to translate into other languages. One of those quirks in Hebrew legal writing is the common paragraph opener כזכור. Most translations of this word sound stilted and unnatural in English: “as remembered,” “as you may recall,” etc. A better solution would be: “As a reminder,” for example, “As a reminder, in its decision of April 1, 2020, the Court ordered that….”
